Rachel Lane Walden, MLIS, received the 2020 Vanderbilt School of Nursing Alumni Friend of Nursing Award on October 20, 2020. Her nominating letter commented on her responsiveness, dedication and endless energy demonstrated in support of the students, staff, and faculty.
The Friend of Nursing Award recognizes significant local or national contributions, or both, to the profession of nursing from an individual who is not a nurse or VUSN alumna/us.
